CSC 498: Senior Project, Spring 2008

Timetable

Week 1 (1/28-2/1):

Course introduction, discuss project ideas. A one-paragraph description of one or two project possibilities is due by Friday, February 1. Email it to your instructor: bhoward@depauw.edu. Each description should be preceded with a tentative project title.

Week 2 (2/4-8):

Individual meetings as needed, time to be arranged. Your project proposal (hard copy) is due Friday, February 8 to allow time for an approval decision by meeting time next week.

Week 3 (2/11-15):

Required 15 minute individual meeting during regular class time. Meeting times will be assigned.

Week 4 (2/18-22):

Individual meetings as necessary based on any required proposal revisions.

Week 5 (2/25-29):

Checkpoint One presentation and S Presentation One.

Week 6 (3/3-7):

Individual meetings may be scheduled as needed.

Week 7 (3/10-14):

Individual meetings may be scheduled as needed.

Week 8 (3/17-21):

Checkpoint Two presentation and S Presentation Two.

Week 9 (3/31-4/4):

Ethics Exercise and `S' Discussion.

Week 10 (4/7-11):

Checkpoint Three presentation and S Presentation Three.

Week 11 (4/14-18):

Individual meetings may be scheduled as needed.

Week 12 (4/21-25):

Checkpoint Four (by appointment; meeting times will be assigned).

Week 13 (4/28-5/2):

Individual meetings may be scheduled as needed.

Week 14 (5/5-8):

Public Final Demos (S Presentation Four); Final project and report are due at this time.
